Ealing Lions Club

This Club was sponsored by Spelthorne Lions Club (now called Staines & Ashford – 1975) on the 8th of July, 1977 and it received its Charter on the 8th of October, 1977 at the “Centre Airport Hotel” Heathrow in the presence of Councillor Margaret Lorde then the Mayor of Ealing.

Lion Les Day, the President of Spelthorne Lions Club is seen addressing the audience. Our Charter President Lion Devinder Singh Goomer is in the centre of the seated officials i.e. Lion Harbhajan Singh Dhariwal (District Governer – 1977/78) who presented the Charter, Lion Joe Moore - DDG 1977/78, Lion Santokh Singh Ahdan – Zone Chairman 1977/78 (Past President and Charter Member of Ealing Lions Club) and PDG Lion David Saunders – the International Representative.
